Hi. My name is Roy, nice to meet you.

The idea to open a pousada (Portuguese) guest house came to me in 2009 while on the island of Morro Sao Paulo, near Salvador Bahia Brasil.

I have stayed in many back packers and guest houses on my travels over the years and decided to convert my home to offer funky, beach style, self catering accommodations for business or leisure.

It’s a special place for cool people to stay. Whether it's for an overnight stay just blowing through or a week’s laid back holiday unwinding and filling up on surrounding inspiration, its a home away from home experience and more.

Safe, peaceful, tranquil, almost mystical with a beach vibe. Amor da Vida has an abundance of bird life, safe grounds for children to play, off street parking and sea views, ideally situated opposite blue flag beaches.

Amor da Vida is a special place and guaranteed to touch your soul.

Whether you want to surf, kite surf, stand up paddle, fish, swim, run on the beach, skateboard down the beachfront or just chill on the beach watching the dolfins and whales play, it's all right on your doorstep, 270 metres from the waters edge - But remember, Port Elizabeth can have some really windy days!
